The Posy....
I don't think I ever realized the extent of my sketchbook collection until we were packing them into huge Rubbermaid bins to store them during quarantine. Books dating back to grade school and through college...lots of books.
As I flipped through each book....filled with sketches, lists, schedules, kiddos drawings, there was a few images that kept appearing-----the posy was one of them.
It has been a doodle..nothing fancy or forced and truly a little sketch day-dream...but something that I continue to enjoy drawing.
I love the colors that result from the shapes and lines these create, the elements of shadow and contrast. The color combinations that magically appear with the mixture of color always excite me....the brights, the darks----everything in-between.
